Saint Karas and Saint Abraam Coptic Orthodox Church

Dear Beloved Members of the Coptic Orthodox Church

Grace and peace be unto you. We are excited and blessed to announce a significant development in our journey of faith and fellowship. It is with great joy that we introduce to you our newly established church and retreat center, nestled on the serene grounds of 705 S Jackson St, Red Bluff, CA 96080.

Built in 1960, this retreat center is set upon 1.65 acres of land. This sacred space can serve as a sanctuary where we can all come together to reflect and grow in our faith.

Under the gracious supervision of Father Bishoy Halim, this retreat center promises to be a place of solace and spiritual nourishment. Whether you seek moments of quiet contemplation, engaging discussions on matters of faith, fostering spiritual growth or community bonding, this retreat center offers it all and more.

We invite each and every one of you to join us in celebrating the inauguration of this retreat center. This is not just a physical space; it is a reflection of our shared devotion and an embodiment of the teachings of Saint Karas and Saint Abraam. Through their intercessions and inspiration, we aim to create an environment where our souls can find solace and our faith can be deepened.

As we embark on this new chapter in our congregation’s journey, let us keep in mind the words of Scripture: “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). In the midst of our busy lives, may this retreat center serve as a haven where we can indeed be still, tune into the presence of God, and cultivate a stronger connection with our Coptic Orthodox community.

Please stay tuned for announcements regarding upcoming retreats, seminars, and gatherings at the center. We look forward to your active participation and contribution in making this retreat center a vibrant hub of spiritual growth.

2 Corinthians 9:7 “God loves a cheerful giver.”

For now, we accept Zelle for donations: donation@sksac.org

May the blessings of Saint Abraham and Saint Karas continue to guide us as we step into this new chapter together.

In Christ’s love,

Saint Karas and Saint Abraam Coptic Orthodox Church
